January 2026 Newsletter
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Of course everyone is back to school and back to work and we all have to remember what it’s like to live in a civilization again. But we’ve got a lot of fun activities this month to kick off the year right.
December Roundup
Our Scouts did a great job gathering and wrapping presents for a Hayes family in need. Service is an important part of the Scouting experience and I love the big service projects we do, but there’s something special about Adopt-A-Family, as it’s it gives us the opportunity to make a deeply personal positive impact on someone’s Christmas, and their life and I thank everyone who participated.
Of course we also donated no shortage of socks or “snowballs” and those too made a positive impact in our community.
For our final Den Meeting of 2025 Bears and Wolves also got together to make two different kinds of houses, some for birds, and some to eat, and had a lot of fun making both, even though we only ate the Wolves’ houses. We decided they tasted better.
